Sharing our sustainable design ethos on Earth Day
Today is Earth Day - a time when the world comes together to support and raise awareness of environmental protection. At Pentadel we try to do our bit every day - and we are committed to helping our clients design and build industrial facilities that are not a blight on the world.
Our design team is passionate about sustainability in the built environment and always looking at ways to encourage clients to invest in designing or fitting out facilities that offer longevity and are as low as possible on environmental impact.
With the mantra “reduce, reuse, recycle” at its core, one recently completed project saw us transform an existing, run-down 1980s portal frame warehouse on a client’s behalf. Our team designed and delivered a bolted, steel, two-storey workspace, which has been retrofitted into the existing shed. The structure is designed to be demountable and extendable - enabling our client to adapt it to its future needs, or even take it to another building for re-use in future, should it need to.
The ultimate in recyclable building!
As a business too, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and are currently working towards getting B Corp status. We are proud to be doing what we can to help our planet.
