Montana Bakery
Pentadel Project Management is proud to have successfully managed the £8m expansion of Montana Bakery’s production facilities in Slough, Berkshire.
Montana Bakery, the Oetker Gruppe-owned artisan baker, is renowned for its expertise in fermented doughs, ciabatta, focaccia and stone-baked black breads, speciality breads, rolls, garlic bread and pizza bases.
Growing demand for Montana Bakery’s products dictated a requirement to extend its facilities by 2,400m² over two floors, enabling it to establish two new lines for the production of stone baked pizza bases and baguettes.
A particular challenge was presented by the need to accommodate a new spiral freezer within the existing building frame, requiring complex structural modifications.
The Pentadel team designed and managed the entire project, ensuring the client achieved its facility on time and to the agreed budget, with the new lines going into production in April 2019.
