Infarm opens its innovative vertical farm in Bedford

We were delighted to attend the recent opening of Infarm’s vertical farm - the largest in Europe at 10,000sqm. The unveiling event was supported by Jo Churchill MP, Minister for Agri-Innovation and Climate Adaptation at Defra and Mohammad Yasin MP for Bedford, where the facility is located.

Over the last year it has been wonderful to support Infarm in the delivery of its innovative facility which provides more than 5500sqm of growing space for fresh produce including salad and herbs.

The Pentadel team has worked hard to deliver this project from start to finish. We helped Infarm find a suitable site, negotiated terms and then designed the facility so that it could run on sustainable production methods. We also managed the construction of the facility.

Our passion is to design and deliver industrial facilities that have the future of people and the planet at their heart. We are very proud to have played a part in Infarm’s revolutionary story.
