Helping to deliver one of the largest vertical farms in Europe for Infarm

We are thrilled to be working with Infarm to create one of the largest vertical farming facilities in Europe!

The new 9,760 sqm Growing Centre will be fully equipped with large-scale, cloud-connected farming units, offering more than 5500 sqm of growing space.

Located in Bedford, this Growing Centre will serve the Greater London area, as well as southern and central UK with fresh produce including salad and herbs.

We helped Infarm find a suitable UK site, negotiated terms and then designed the facility for them, which includes integrating rainwater harvesting which can capture up to 2.5 million litres of rainwater, in addition to the up to 10 million litres of water Infarm saves due to its sustainable production methods.

Construction, which we are also managing, has already started on the site with the first harvest due at the end of this year.
