Partnering with Tofu King to establish the UK's largest dedicated tofu production facility

UK independent Tofu producer, Tofu King, is expanding its UK operations to meet a surge in demand for its bean curd products, with the fit-out of a new factory and warehouse in Aston, Birmingham.

The on-site work has now begun, ready for Tofu King to open a brand new 3,000 sqm kitchen for full production by the end of this year.  Tofu King will move all its existing operations here from its current facility - enabling it to produce tofu blocks, sheets and fried varieties all on one site.

The Pentadel team has been busy over the last few months designing the facility to maximise production, efficiency and to create a welcoming and pleasant environment for all who work there.

They are now on site completing the fit-out of the facility, which will incorporate state-of-the-art processing machinery within a large open, a bright production area with a high level viewing gallery and a spacious and welcoming relaxation area and canteen for staff.   

The new facility, which will process six tonnes of soybeans per day, will supply Tofu King’s existing UK independent and trade base, whilst enabling it to grow its business through new retail and foodservice opportunities.
